Obituary of Anne C. DeCocq
Webster: Passed peacefully at Webster Comfort Care surrounded by her family on Monday, December 23. Predeceased by her loving husband, Henry; son-in-law, David Rudzinski. She is survived by her children; Michael (Linda),MaryKay, Monica (Tim Giacoman); grandchildren, David DeCocq, Thomas Lansing, Sarah Rudzinski, Abby and Graham Giacoman; great-grandchildren, Aiden and Jackson; brother, James (Mary) Deviny, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Anne attended Nazareth Academy and SUNY Brockport, earning her degree in Elementary Education. She built many long friendships with her Webster teaching community, having spent 20 years teaching 4th grade at State Road Elementary School.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, of whom she was very proud. She was always up for socializing with friends, loved to laugh, read, and take a drive.
She was loved and adored by her family and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held 4-7 PM Wednesday, January 8, at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00AM Thursday, January 9, at St. Paul’s Church, 783 Hard Rd., Webster. Private interment at White Haven Memorial Park. Donations in Anne’s name may be made to Webster Comfort Care, 700 Holt Rd., Webster, in sincere thanks and appreciation for the compassionate care you gave Anne.
