Obituary of Maura Muir Wilson
Maura Muir Wilson unexpectedly passed on December 1st, 2024. With joys of warm hugs, happiness, and many shared smiles still present from recent Thanksgiving celebrations with many of her favorite friends and family, she left this world with peace in mind.
Maura was a talented designer of dreams. A creator-collector of hand-crafted artifacts, she had a deep appreciation for unique works created from the farthest reaches of the world, in addition to her own creations.
The greatest joy in her life, without a doubt, was her daughter Jessie, into whom she poured her love, energy, and devotion. 2024 brought many profound memories, including walking her beautiful daughter down the aisle alongside Jessie's father to be married and celebrating life's next steps. Their lives were woven together. Maura's spirit will forever enrich her daughter's life.
Predeceased by her father, Tom Wilson; step-mother, Sherry. She leaves her daughter, Jessie (Charles Laurer) Blumenfeld; mother, Julie Wilson Martin; brothers, Tyler (Viviana) and Ian Wilson; niece, Amanda Culver; nephews, Santiago, Tom and Tyler Wilson.
Friends may call 4-7 PM Tuesday, December 10 at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster. Memorials may be directed to Puppy Mill Rescue Team, 6558 4th Section Rd, # 105 Brockport, NY 14420.
The presence of her love and kindness on this earth will be greatly missed.
