One for all and all for one. Was the spirit of the mother's on Little Spring Run, Red Bard Circle, and Bittersweet Run. Mrs. Kunzler was a second mother to me. Beth and our other besties, Karen and Dawn all considered each other's Mothers a back-up version of our OA. They treated us as daughters and took us under their watchful eye. They indiscriminately gave us the "Mom look" more times than I can count, but less than we deserved. So even though I am certainly old enough to call her Lois, I never did and never would. In my mind she is Mrs. Kunzler or M2 as an acknowledgement of respect and love. I held her in high regard and will always treasure memories of us in her kitchen baking or hanging out at the kitchen table.
