Obituary of Roberta "Bobbie" Kalsbeek

Rochester:  On Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at the age of 91, she went home to be with the Lord.  Bobbie leaves her loving husband of 70 years, Fred;  daughters, Thea Hare and Celeste (Thom) Nykamp;  grandchildren, Alissa (Nathan Schley) Hare and David (Abby) Hare, Andrea Nykamp and Alexandra (Reese) Evans;  great-granddaughter, Violet Hare;  and niece, Jill Griffin.

Bobbie worked as a nurse for years at area hospitals and later in private duty assignments.  Her wit and caring love was appreciated by patients, friends, and neighbors throughout the years.  She loved life and affectionally earned the title of “Queen” by her family.

Friends may call 11:30-12:30 Monday, January 31 at the Lodge at Grace Church, 805 Blossom Road, Rochester, NY 14610.  Her Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 PM in the Church.  Interment, White Haven Memorial Park.  Memorials may be directed to Grace Church.
