I am so sad to hear of Dans passing. I have known Dan for sixty years. We worked together in Kodaks Research Labs. In 1963 he became my boss in the U-Batch section of Emulsion Research. He also became my friend and mentor. A gentle and caring man. We were one of the originals of the group of co-workers who met every month at Mr Dominicks Restaurant in Charlotte for food and talk. Dan was the one who got in touch with us, made the reservations and let us know the dates. Because of Dan we existed for thirty years. Only Covid stopped us two years ago. I will miss his thoughtfullness, intelligence and caring. He will always be in my thoughts and prayers. LeeRoy Bob Williams

I always remember your dad carrying a stuffed Mr. Peanut doll at one of our youth fellowship retreats. He told us that Laurie packed it for him to take with him to keep him company. He was a great guy and always had a smile and a laugh to share with us all.

Our condolences to the family of Mr. Corretore. I have such wonderful memories of sharing Sundays worshiping at church while growing up, along with the pleasure of working with him and Mrs. Corretore at Webster Drug Store. He was one of the kindest men I've ever known with a smile that was contagious. What a terrific example of Dad, Grandpa, community supporter and friend to all. I was so happy to see him one last time in July for my mother's celebration of life. I pray that the wonderful memories he created bring those he left behind comfort and peace. I feel blessed to have known a truly amazing man. Rest in peace. Mike and Cindi Mason Cain

God has welcomed home a very special angel. Dan was loved by all who knew him. I never heard anyone say anything negative of Dan, & he also didn't speak negatively of others. I have many fond memories from the UHFD firehall & events. Dan was always active there & so pleasant to share work with. His spaghetti, chicken cordon bleu, hash brown potatoes, etc. still make my mouth water. Although I'm sure his family will sorely miss his presence, please know how blessed you were to have enjoyed him for so long & been loved by a very dear man. God speed.

Our condolences to the family and friends of Dan Corretore. We have so many wonderful memories of Dan at Union Hill FD and head chef of the Spaghetti dinners, his calm and gracious manner no matter the situation. His long tenure at the Webster United Methodist Church. Also seeing Dan at Scotts funeral home holding the door as you entered was always a welcoming and comforting sight.
