Obituary of Sandra "Sandy" L. Carnevale

     Webster: Sandra “Sandy” L. Carnevale passed away on December 4, 2021, at the age of 76. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, John; her daughter, Jennifer (John) Nelson; her son, John (Kelly) Carnevale. “Grammy” so loved her grandchildren, Lindsey, Kate, and Matthew Nelson and Krystal, Rachelle, and Adam Carnevale. She is predeceased by her parents, Jack and Roseltha DeJonge and her sister, Barbara Gerstner.

     Sandy worked at Xerox for 3 years where she and John met. She stayed home to raise their children for many years before returning to work for several years at Webster Office Supply in the village of Webster.

     As a life-long resident of Webster, Sandy inevitably would run into someone she knew wherever she went. Catching up with friends and acquaintances was one of her favorite activities. She was caring and thoughtful with a huge heart and would always make time to help her friends, her family, and community.

     She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Cottreall-Warner Post 942 for many years. Sandy enjoyed tending to her beautiful gardens and treasured spending time with her family.

     Calling hours will be held 1-4 PM Friday, December 10, at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 11, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1460 Ridge Rd., Webster.
