Dear John, I was so sorry to read of Dorothy’s passing. Memories from Alfred go way back when she was Dotty Lohrmann at Alfred. Always a lot of fun and a very sincere person. Still remember your pinning with the ladder against the Pi Nu house outside Dotty’s dorm room. Such a momentous occasion with all of Pi Nu looking on and celebrating with you. And look how many years it lasted! Living in Fairport, I often thought of Dotty and tried to see if I could find her to connect up, but never was able. To John and the extended family: My heart aches with the passing of my Hilton Head mom and dear friend, Dorothy. My months here from January to March were filled with love and fun. As I just found this out, I felt I needed to comment on this obituary. The Wisniewski’s or as their referred to us as the Whipple’s have been in my life since I was 9. We had so many memories together. My first job was cutting their lawn. Now being 48 I reflect on people who have impacted my life. The Whipple’s don’t realize the impact they had. I feel so lucky to have them there for me, during my years growing up and help me become the man I am today. I love you both and you will always be with me. Jack Mullen
