So sorry to hear of Jimmy's passing. He was a great guy. I loved talking with him about his grandchildren and Notre Dame.

Jimmy the Egg is going to be missed. There will be a void at the Eastside Y. He was always quick to heckle, help, laugh, tell a joke or butcher a story. The guys at the coffee table contend that Jimmy spoke his own language, but yet we all understood what he said. I’m going to miss him stopping in front of my house and honking his horn. He certainly left an impression on people he came in contact with. I’m going to miss you my friend but never forget you. You passed on my birthday, you will forever live in my heart. Rest In Peace Jimmy. GO IRISH!!!

So sad to hear this news. Jim was a good friend, and good neighbor!
I actually remember meeting him for the first time back in the 70s when Marty McClain and I rode our bikes to visit the family (Haley Road???). Then we were "next door neighbors" for 12 years in the village of Webster. Great guy! Lots of good memories.
Thoughts to the entire extended family.
