Mr. Depape has been a friend to many, including my parents.. They were members of the same church, United Methodists in Webster. They were neighbors on the same street for many years. Mr. Depape always remembered them when he cooked for his wife and would bring a dish or two for them. If they weren't home he would leave a bag tied to the door with goodies for them. When my dad passed away, he would visit my mom and bring her food when he cooked. I really appreciated his caring generous nature. My mom and dad are both gone now but remembering him will always be in my heart. A special thank you to him

Ernie was the backbone of the Duffy's Duffers golf league. Without him, the league wouldn't have existed. He was a golfer, coordinator, cook, and most of all, a friend to all the players. God Bless you Ernie and our final year of golf will be dedicated to you. (He also made the best hot sauce in the county)
