Obituary of Adam Thomas Remein
Originally from Gananda: Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the age of 38. Adam will be remembered by friends and family for his big smile, generous heart, and encyclopediac mind. He leaves his parents, Tom and Marlene Pedulla Remein; sister, Tessa (David) Stafford; grandmother, Doris Remein; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Many of us knew Adam his whole life, and yet others met him late in his journey. No matter how long we knew him, he left a lasting impact. There was always a wonderful insight behind the delivery of his words. His smile shone through his darkest moments, and lit up the room in his best times. He was a gracious friend to all around him who loved, cared for, and cherished him. His giant hugs could cheer you up in an instant.
Through his struggles, Adam loved and cared about each and every one of us, always wanting the best for everyone.
Adam succumbed to his demons, but not before showing us all what a beautiful, generous, and gracious heart he had. He is finally reunited with Sam, his canine buddy through some of his hardest times, sadly lost in a house fire 10 years ago. He joins his adopted baby sister, Beth Ann, who was lost in a tragic accident too many years ago. Adam also rests with some of his best friends, including Jeremy, lost to the same disease of addiction, and countless others who suffered in silence facing the same horrors of addiction and mental illness.
Adam was loved and cherished by all who knew him. Though he is no longer with us, he leaves behind a lasting impact that we will never forget. Rest in peace, Adam Remein. You will be missed.
