Bill earned his B. S in Photographic Science from RIT.  This led to his 41 year career at Eastman Kodak as a Photo Science Engineer.  He met many wonderful people traveling internationally to different parts of the world.  He also had a short career in Real Estate after retirement.   The love of his life was first his wife - his high school sweetheart - his family and his music.  He was a very talented musician - playing French horn, trumpet, organ and keyboards.  He played trumpet in the Eastman Kodak band for many years.  He volunteered for 25 years at St. Mary’s Hospital playing the organ and directing the choir in the hospital chapel.  As a young man, he entertained at different venues around the city.  After he retired, he got much satisfaction out of entertaining, with a singing partner, at many of the local Assisted Living facilities.  He loved it, and they loved him.  He also loved food, travel and wine.  Restaurants and good wine were a big part of his life with his wife, Susan.   He belonged to the American Wine Society for many years, where he served as secretary for a few years, met many wonderful people and gained much knowledge of local and international wineries. He also loved animals and, as a child, had a great fetish for pigs.  Friends and colleagues brought him all shapes and sizes from different parts of the world; he had quite a collection.  He was a wonderful, loving, kind and caring man always willing to help.  He will be missed greatly by his wife, family and friends.
