Obituary of Dennis Lee Pitts

Webster, NY: June 9, 2017 at age 68. Predeceased by his parents, AJ and Hazel (Doyle) Pitts. He is survived by his loving companion of 32 years, Linda McCarthy; his first wife, Iris Butterfield; sons, Dennis Lee Pitts, Jr. and Anthony Alexander Pitts, daughter-in-law, Rachel Irving Pitts; sister, Gail Pitts Wilson; Linda's son, Tucker McCarthy, grandchild, Abigail McCarthy-Milliman; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs Jack and CP. Dennis started his family in Webster after graduating from the University of Miami in 1970, and met Linda in 1985. He worked for his father's trucking company and eventually took over after his father passed. He later worked as a professional driver in various capacities until his death. He loved to sail, swim, and ride horses. He loved to spend time with family and friends, and will be missed by many.
