Obituary of Virginia Schutt Freeman

Webster: Saturday, December 24, 2016, age 91. Predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Richard; granddaughter, Sandra Huey. She leaves her children, Richard E. Jr. (Sue), Leslie (Sam) Huey and JoAnne (Ted) Blanchard; grandchildren, Stacey and Jill Burkholder, Katherine (Sandeep) Kapoor, Jeffery (Jennifer) and Eben (Kayse) Blanchard; Great-grandson, Jackson Blanchard; nieces, nephews and cousins. A graduate of Grove City College where she majored in music, Virginia was one of the original members of the Webster Theatre Guild where she was the musical director for many years. She taught piano and organ and had been the organist for both the Webster Baptist Church and Parsells Ave . Baptist Church. Her family remembers her as being an immensely devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Friends may call 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster where her Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Webster Rural Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
