Obituary of Gary Mason

Webster/Williamson:  Thursday, March 29, 2018, age 83.Predeceased by his brothers, Bruce, Fred and Keith Mason.  He leaves his wife of 65 years, Barbara;  children, Dan (Deb) Mason, Janet (Jeff) Fyles and Linda (Kev) Minwell of TX;  6 grandchildren, Stephanie (Paul) Mason, Randy (Kelsey) Mason, Jon (Katie) Fyles, Lake (Ratsamy) Minwell, Cody and Linnea Minwell;  2 great-grandsons, Calum Minwell and Sutton Mason;  brother, Milt (Dawn) Mason;  sisters-in-law, Mary Lou, Ann and Marge Mason;  nieces and nephews.

Gary traveled locally and across the country to watch his children and grandchildren participate in sports and activities. He retired from Kodak after 32 years, was a life member of Union Hill Fire Dept, and a member of Webster Area Fireman’s Exempts.  Gary was a three-time Track Champion at Spencer Speedway;  he will be greatly missed by the local racing community.

Friends are invited to a Memorial Service for Gary and Barbara 4:00 PM Wednesday, June 30, at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home,12 South Ave., Webster.   The family would like to thank the staff at Wilmot Cancer Center for their excellence in care.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Wilmot Cancer Center, 601 Elmwood Avenue #704, Rochester, NY 14642.
